Helen has been a board member of UKAAF since February 2023. She is passionate about digital accessibility and raising awareness in the creation of accessible documents and content. Her passion has led her to study digital accessibility awareness education as a focus for her PHD and is keen to contribute ideas and insights to the UKAAF team.
Helen has worked in digital content creation for almost twenty-five years as an e-learning developer, teacher of digital design, and in content creation at a local authority. She has delivered training and awareness webinars nationally around digital accessibility education for both the workplace and for education, most specifically in the principles of accessible document creation.
