The International Council on English Braille (ICEB) is holding its 7th General Assembly from Monday 11th May 2020 through Friday 15th May 2020. It is in partnership with Academy London, Google’s dedicated learning space. The focus for the week will be on braille as an exciting and relevant code for the future, particularly digital braille.
UKAAF (UK Association for Accessible formats) and RNIB (Royal National Institute of Blind People) will be hosting the event and invite you to register as soon as possible as places are strictly limited.
Everyone attending the event will need to register. There is a payment of £20 per day, with a maximum of £60 for three or more days. You should refer to the programme to decide which days you would like to attend. There is a promotional code for selected exhibitors and designated official country delegates (available from your braille authority).
The main conference day is on Thursday 14th May when there will be an exciting programme of guest speakers, big tech companies, plenary sessions, new research and an exhibition area. There will also be a number of interesting papers on the afternoon of Wednesday 13th May. This programme will be updated with more specific information as the event approaches.

All the papers will be sent to you by email prior to the conference and also included on the USB memory stick in your conference pack upon arrival. If you would like the Conference programme, List of delegates etc provided in hard copy, in your conference pack, please specify this on your registration form.
