The first official UKAAF board was elected by members at the first AGM on 15 September 2009. This group takes over from the Interim Board who led the organisation from its incorporation (November 2008) to the first AGM, and we are grateful to them for the excellent work they delivered.

The Interim Board of twelve people (6 officers, and 6 ordinary members) comprised committee members from all three merging associations (COTIS, UKABP and BAUK), and many of the Interim Board members are blind and partially sighted.
